PE Cycle 3 Reflection
I was reasonably satisfied with my results for this PE Cycle 3. While I did not get a chance to do the two audio shadowings that I had intended for this Cycle, I did get a chance to do a single shadowing of my favorite animated movie, Howl's Moving Castle, that I believed to be reasonably difficult. Also, I have been practicing casual conversations with my sophomore native Japanese hall mate, and from what she tells me and from personal belief, my speech patterns have slowly shifted into becoming much more comfortable with the language. I hope I can use this to my advantage during my oral final examination next Tuesday. Some improvements I can make are in the thought processes that I have before I speak, which usually affect the type of tense that I use for my answers, which are at times incorrect. I hope to become much more natural with the tense usages. Also, I've noticed a great deal of hesitation between my noun + particle pairs that I use in my more complicated sentences when I speak them out loud in a conversation. I hope that further practice with my hall mate will make this better in the next cycle and semester!
